Switch Blades Legal In Texas
In Texas as of September 1, 2013 a person no longer commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly possesses, manufactures, transports, repairs, or sells: a switchblade knife.
All other knife restrictions still apply. Local restrictions against switchblades also apply. So, before you decide to carry a switchblade knife make sure you’re not violating any local laws that could get your arrested and/or jailed.
